Cllr Brazier said the county council had balanced the budget but more cuts were on the way including 38 childrens centres (one being at New Ash Green), possibly some libraries, and reductions in repair to potholes. Cllr Perry Cole said he had rushed through a grant application to meet the deadline. He had also received 95 replies to a questionnaire he had circulated. The cost of hiring a minibus is about £500 per month. A scheme to share the bus with New Ash Green and use volunteer drivers was discussed.
