The will is fairly short, but he clearly owned freehold land somewhere in Hartley.
This is the last will of me, Harry Mab of Hertle, made the 6th day of November in the 13th year of the reign of King Henry the 7th. First I will that Johan my wife shall sell my lands in Hertle to the most profit that she and her counsel can to perform my last will and truly to pay my debts. And that my feoffees deliver ascate lawful pen' they shall be [.......] by themselves or by a letter of attorney. Dated etc.
